Years ago a leaky hose led to the creation of one of the greatest summer experiences ever for our Grade school and Kindergarten children! What should we do with a portion of the yard slightly flooded, causing it to be inaccessible for everyday yard play? The children came up with an amazing solution;leave the yard flooded and turn it into a water play area. The experience was labeled the Mudpit, and it has been the center of a number of extensive and long-lasting building projects. From constructs such as a city complete with aqueducts, bridges and castles to an entire Smurf village, the Mudpit is a cherished and fun-filled part of Summer play at Kids Kare. |
